The best holiday ever

Hello there! Today I’m going to talk about the best holiday I ever had.

In 2008, I went to the Southern Highway with my family. We were 10, so we had to use two cars.

The first place we stopped was Valdivia, even though it wasn’t part of southern Highway, we take advantage of the trip to visit my aunt and my uncle, who live there.

Two days after, we continued our way south, arriving in Puerto Montt, where we take a ferry to Chaiten. It was an 8 hour trip, but due to bad weather conditions, it took us 16 hours to arrive. That part it wasn’t great, I have to admit it.

But when we arrived all the effort was worth it. Chaiten was a beautiful place and it was just the beginning.

The trip lasted almost a month, time in which we knew places like: Futaleufú, Palena, Aysén and Puyuhuapi.

We not only met different places, but also different cultures, foods and activities. They had a lot of different customs fairs and celebrations.

The best place was Futaleufu, where we could do activities such as kayaking and rafting. We stayed in a place called "La cara del indio”, which had a beautiful house made of trees (not wood but really trees). It had its own sauna!!!

It was the best experience of all, but what made it so great was that it was with the family.

I hope one day we can come back!

Blog 1 A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

Thailand

Hello there! Today I’m going to talk about a place I would love to visit.

A long time ago, I saw a documental from National geographic called Adventured time in Thailand. In there, they showed how people live in there and I loved it.

Thailand is a country located in Southeast Asia that have a lot to offer to the tourists. They have an incredible culture, people is really friendly and they  have a traditional Thai greeting, known as the Wai, that is when someone slightly bows with their hands together almost as if they are in prayer.

They have a lot of giant Temples, because they are very religious and believe in Buddha, and it makes me feel really interested in their lifestyles.

Also, the have and a beautiful ecosystem, with forests and animals like elephants, oxen, snakes and crocodiles.

Another reason to visit this place is because I saw how they cooked, and I love to learn new recipes and cook. So, that´s why I think it would be really amazing to taste their food, and learn about it.

I don´t know if one day I would like to live or study there, but for sure, if at some point I can go, I would like to have all the experience, to eat some Thai food, know their temples, their beaches and see the wild nature life. I would like to prove everything Thailand can offer!!
